(This is much like the American Moon Landing in our history, it just happened differently in Neo-Noire’s history)

The United States’ Apollo 9 was the first manned mission to land on the Moon, on May 10 1953. American astronauts Floyd Hudson and Bill Haney became the first humans ever to land on the moon. Hudson became the first person to walk on the moon. As he set took his first step, Hudson famously said, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for America.” The Apollo 9 mission occurred after President Harry Truman made a goal of landing a man on the moon as early as possible to show the Soviets we had technological superiority over them. Most site this event angered Rodin Zharkov which started him on his tirade against America and conquering lands in Eurasia.
